What’s the difference in hauling for us at 30% and some other companies.

1). It’s 30% of the real freight rate not of brokered freight (which is 15-20% less).

2). A driver should do $ 5,000 per week linehaul being home every weekend. That’s 1,500 to the driver.

3). You are 1099 so you are responsible for your own record keeping / taxes and benefits.

4). Compared to a company guy getting 25%, you make an extra 250 per week or $1,000 per month gross before taxes. 12k per year.

The biggest reason to run for us at 30% instead of your company driver job is…….

NO FORCED DISPATCH!!!!

If you don’t like going to Virginia, don’t go.

I’d you need to be home for your son’s parent teacher conference, be home.

If you want to stay out because there is a good load to Texas, stay out.

We aren’t your mother. We don’t care which you choose as long as you are safe, take care of the equipment and haul enough freight to earn a good living for you and make money for us.

We hire professionals and treat them like professionals.

We are hiring at DDH. Our two new 389's just hit the ground and they'll be hauling freight by early December. The vast majority of our fleet are 389's, but we also have 579's, T680's and a few Prostars.

You can lease purchase a truck with us at very reasonable prices.

You can just drive and earn, 30% of linehaul in most trucks, 35% in the Prostar (which has very low miles).

We are good to our drivers. All of our existing drivers had their lease payments on the trucks cut in half to help them for the holidays.

We haul 90%+ direct freight via PGT. No brokerage margins cutting into your earnings.

Overall, good company run by good people. We aren't for everyone as our tolerance for nonsense or BS is zero. This is our first ad for drivers in a long, long time. We don't churn our drivers and many who leave come back. Come and see what you are missing.

We are watching the freight and fuel market very closely and the combination of the two make it tough for drivers right now. To help, DDH is making all of its truck payments 50% in November and December (payments moved to end of lease with zero interest). We'll see where we are at in January and make a decision then.

We're a small company. No cookouts or hotdogs on Driver's week, but we are here for our guys when they need it. Hopefully this helps make the Holiday Season just a little less stressful. We'll all live for another day, and hopefully a little better market.

I am thankful for our small group at DDH. Jason, Melissa, Nick, Jason Hufnagel and all of our great drivers.

Our drivers are the envy of the industry. Industry leading productivity and safety. World class people. Great personalities.

All should know we appreciate their efforts and hope they are home with their families. Hauling freight is important but so is family. Balance is what we should all strive for. Enjoy the day.
