Young Entrepreneurs- we’d love your input!

We’ve see so many young business owners in our community, and you’ve inspired a new idea.

Here’s what we’re thinking: during Hudson Days on Saturday, we could dedicated a special area of the park just for kid entrepreneurs to set up booths or stands and showcase their business. We would love to see the young dog walkers, babysitters, garbage can cleaners, bracelet makers, bakers and everything in between using this space.

So kids-what do you think? Is this something you’d be excited to be a part of?

And adults- would you be interested in supporting something like this?

🎉 We are looking for volunteers!🎉

Hudson Days is searching for a group or organization that to help staff our bounce houses on Saturday, July 18 from 10:45 am-3:00 pm.

We have 8 bounce houses that need supervision during this time. Groups with a larger volunteer base may find this opportunity a great fit, but any interested organization is welcome. If your organization is primarily teen focused, you are welcome to apply, but we do ask that you have at least one adult supervisor.

As a thank you for your help, Hudson Days will provide a monetary donation to your organization.

Our team will get a heroes welcome today around 3.30ish! Please come outside when you hear the sirens to welcome our girls home!!

🍭Parade information is here! 🍭

Parade information and registration forms can be picked up at city hall and the Hudson Public Library.

What you need to know:

🍬 A new parade start time of 10:30 am. This will allow our committee a little extra time to set things up in the park and offer a later registration time.

🍬 Float decorating contest is back! Our theme this year is “Small Town USA”. We have cash prizes for the two floats who best use this theme.

Please note in an effort to keep our mailing cost low, we ask that you please pick up your registration form in person at one of the two locations listed above.

Pre-registration is not required.

Hudson Days is currently looking for a group or individual(s) that would be interested in running the adult bean bag tournament during Hudson Days.

Hudson Days can supply the boards and bags if needed.

The individual(s)/group would be responsible for planning, coordinating and running the event, and would be able to keep all of the proceeds in return. This could be an excellent fundraiser. Unfortunately, our small committee just doesn’t have the man power to keep it going.

If you are interested or know someone who is, let us know!

We are so excited for The Schmidt Brothers to take the stage at Hudson Days!

They play a variety of music from country to pop, but specialize in 80’s rock. 🎸

Our tour of small towns in the Cedar Valley this summer continues...we will see you at Hudson Days on July 18th! 🔥🤘

It’s garage sale weekend! Our second favorite weekend of the year.

There are over 50+ garage sales in town this weekend!

While you are out looking for your treasures, be sure to stop by one of our favorite sales at 210 Celeste. Each year these kids bake cookies and donate their sales to Hudson Days!

You can find garage sale maps in this weeks edition of the Hudson Herald or at your favorite local business.

Happy Easter!

We hope all the kiddos enjoyed their visit from the bunny.

We would love it, if the kids wanted to send their eggs back to the bunny. If you don’t want to send them back that is fine too! You are welcome to keep them!

We have collection boxes at the library and city hall or we can make arrangements to pick them up.

We are also accepting plastic egg donations, so if you’re tired of looking at them, we will take them!

Thank you for supporting Hudson Days and Post Prom!

We look forward to doing this again and hopefully bigger and even better than this year!
