Job Description

We are a small family owned local trucking company located in Huntley, IL looking to hire FULL TIME tractor-trailer drivers with a Class A CDL License. We are looking to grow our team with people that share our same values and enthusiasm to provide exceptional transportation service to our customers without compromising safety.

We have consistent work, which equals consistent compensation! Tractor-trailer drivers are pulling 53’ dry van trailers, within 300 mile radius of Huntley, IL covering areas in IA, IL, IN, and WI. Most days are 10-12 hours in length, with drivers returning home every day; Typical start times are early morning 04:00-07:00.

Responsibilities and Duties

Driver's responsibility is to Pick up and deliver goods in timely fashion with SAFETY in mind

Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service

Loads, secures, verifies, and unloads cargo

Maintains telephone, text, email contact with dispatcher to receive instructions for scheduled delivery or pick up.

Maintains HOS according to federal and state regulations.

Be able to use and operate an ELD device.

Responsible for pre/post vehicle inspection and report maintenance issues.

Must be licensed to operate a truck with a "satisfactory" driving record.
This is not an "all inclusive" list but an outline of responsibilities

Qualifications and Skills

Class A CDL

Applicants should be at least 23 years of age with a minimum of 1.0 years of tractor/trailer driving experience

Must have a clean driving record, pass a pre-employment drug test, be able to pass or have a current DOT medical exam.

Safely and confidently be able to operate a 53' tractor/trailer combination

We are looking to expand our team with people that share our same values and enthusiasm to provide exceptional transportation service to our customers without compromising safety.

Currently we are seeking FULL-TIME Class A CDL tractor/trailer driver(s), IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITIES, to operate 53' re**er units locally, or short-haul from Bolingbrook, IL. Dedicated work schedule, (5-day work week), including one weekend day. Home everyday after each route.

Routes start are early AM, typical starts, 01:00-02:00, and are designed to fit within HOS; typically routes are 10-12hrs. The work load includes pre-trip of tractor and pre-loaded re**er trailer destined for store deliveries within a 300-mile radius of Bolingbrook, IL. Some of the delivery areas include, but not limited to... St. Louis, MO. Des Moines, IA. Green Bay, WI. Ypsilanti, MI. and Indianapolis, IN. All deliveries are dock delivery, with minimal assistance required via electric pallet jack.
