Part 2 Pics
Arizona was probably one of our favorite states - hands down! Specifically in Mesa, AZ, literally everyone was so nice. Walking to our car in a Walmart parking lot we were asked if our day was going well by a young family. You don't meet a stranger!

Regardless of that, we camped at a State Park that was filled with all sorts of desert life, and even the iconic Saguaro Cactus! Going to see these majestic plants has to be added to everyone's bucket list ASAP! The picture of the one I am standing with has to be over 30 feet tall!!

🌡Fun Fact: The highly protected Saguaro Cactus only grows 1-2 inches in their first 10 YEARS. Then they will not produce their first "arm" until they reach 50-100 YEARS old, and they can live well into their 2nd century and grow as tall as 50 FEET and may weight up to 6 TONS?! ❀🌡❀

While on our hike we I got snared by a cactus barb and that sucker was STUCK. I'm so glad we had pliers in our tool box and Justin was able to yank it out swifly.

Arizona is a place we would love to revisit and we highly recommend it to everyone!

Sedona was about as picturesque as you would imagine. Everywhere you look there were rock formations and mountains that were so stunning. We loved getting to relax in this area for 2 nights and were especially fortunate for our campground to have a creek running behind it.

Dispersed camping at Marble Canyon - one of ur favorite campsites to date!

This dispersed camping spot was a hidden gem. We were in the valley of a canyon surrounded by beautiful mountains and Navajo lands. We love the freedom dispersed camping gives with the uninterrupted views and plenty of space for Koga to stretch his legs.

While in the area of Horsehoe Bend, we stopped by to see the Glen Canyon Dam Overlook - and Koga got to walk down with us! The natural smooth stone steps were so cool and the view was amazing!

Then just down the road we visited Horsehoe Bend 🀯 these views were breath-taking! So glad we got to see it at sunset! (Koga stayed in the A/C for this short hike to the overlook)

We stayed at a campground on Lake Mead right outside of Las Vegas! Wow what a gorgeous lake! It is the water reservoir for so many surrounding communities. This year the water was low, so we got to see the distinct water line that shows where typical water levels are usually.

We also decided to drive the strip during the day and it did not disappoint! The casinos were grand and ornate, but I was most impressed with the pedestrian corraling that completely separated the sidewalk from the main drag! Makes sense that they would have walls up so people aren't able to jaywalk into the streets
