As of December 2007 Over The Edge Hurricane has been providing awesome for 10 years. We love being in Hurricane UT, close to amazing trail systems like Gooseberry Mesa, Guacamole, and the Hurricane Cliffs AKA JEM Trail system. Whatcha got planned for Labor Day Weekend? There's lots to do in Southern Utah this weekend: Hurricane Utah Peach Days, Octoberfest opens at Brian Head Resort, and the mesa weather looks very nice on Saturday and Labor Day. Sunday's forecast is wet so there might even be some hero dirt on Monday. We'll be open all weekend if you need trail info, snacks, tires, mtb gear, bike parts, etc.

Photo for attention: the Gooseberry Mesa road will be closed tomorrow to repair damage from the recent monsoon storms. Thank you to Terry Beckman for sharing this message from the town of Apple Valley:

"Apple Valley Alert: Gooseberry road will be closed tomorrow 9/1/26 from 9am to 4pm. We have to repair the road. The integrity of the road was affected by the stormwater. I apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding."

You know what that big soccer ball means - our Saturday is going to Blow Hard! We're actually going to shuttle C-Trail and Blow Hard. If you'd like to ride with us, the van will be leaving the shop at 8 AM tomorrow and stopping at the Southview Trailhead at 9 AM. The forecast for Brian Head is in the low 60s with a chance of thunderstorms so bring a jacket. Come ride with us!

Save the date! Our annual Afterbike Fall MTB Party will be held on the weekend of October 3rd - the week before Red Bull Rampage. We'll have donuts and coffee on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning, a big group ride on Saturday, and a free BBQ on Saturday night. This year we're also having a free Yard Sale/Bike Swap on Saturday. Make sure to put on your calendar and stay tuned for more details! Who's got some love for the Boy Scout Trails? If you like challenging tech with great views, you need to check them out. Gooseberry and the other mesa trails get the most attention, but Boy Scout is some of the most technical riding in Southern Utah. It also holds up well when others trails get muddy, so it's a regular Saturday shop ride in the winter.
