Well Shawn and I had a busy day. We got my tree dropped, cleaned up the neighbors tree since they are out of town, help the guy across the street when his saw died before the first cut, and helped the sweetest little old lady a few houses down who had her backyard neighbor’s trees drop into her yard. Still waiting to see if the city will change their minds about collection. Tomorrow I’ll start tackling the trees that fell at the shop so that if they get the power back on I can get back to work. What a wild week!

Well today was our tournament on lake Somerville and it was tough! First fish in the boat early in the day and then NOTHING until I put our 2nd and 3rd in the boat with less than an hour to go. We were sitting in first place until the last guy to weigh in pulled a 7 pounder out and we knew it was going to be close. We got bumped to second by less than a pound! We had a blast and can’t wait for the next one.

We made it home from Ivie and boy was it one to remember! Friday night a storm rolled in with hail and 60mph winds, no real damage to anything except for some trees and left us with a double rainbow. Saturday morning we got to watch the moon go down from the water. The temps were hot but we managed to finish 7th out of 17, Shawn caught his new personal best of just under 8lbs, and we managed to get the dirty d**k payout with a 1.28lber. Thank you to Elm Creek R.V. & Campgrounds, Bobby Townes, and all the sponsors!
