Did you know some Harvesters' sites allow proxies to pick up food for you if you can't make it? Just call the partner agency ahead of time to provide their information for pickup.

Sun & Moon — Preserved lemon hummus and a delicate pavlova — thanks to the overachieving chickpea! Garbanzo beans are frequently on the protein shelves at the Serve&Lift Market, and we’ll be tasting them this week . One with a glug of olive oil and the other with vanilla pastry cream, lightly sweetened whip and balsamic strawberries.

We had the time of our lives last week preparing some Mother’s Day Barbecue fare for two senior residential facilities managed by incredible leadership (looking at you Ronnetta) and blasting some pure karaoke joy. One more way we’re when we can lend a hand in the community, too!

That is why we are assembling a Neighbor Council, a space where we invite community members who have experienced food insecurity to share about their lived experiences and bring their own ideas and solutions to the table to help us better serve our community. Your participation and feedback will be an invaluable piece to ending hunger.
