A massive IT outage is impacting airlines, airports, and more worldwide, which means today is one of those travel days where we’re reminded of those things over which we have no control.

✅ Be patient and flexible: Understand that delays and cancellations are beyond anyone's control during an IT outage.
✅ Keep essential items handy: Have necessary medications, important documents, chargers, and a change of clothes in your carry-on bag in case of extended delays.
✅ Optimize that lounge access: Now’s the time to get comfortable. You’ll likely have lots of company — so remember a little kindness towards staff and fellow travelers goes a long way.
✅ Know your rights: Get familiar with airline policies on delays and cancellations. and where you're entitled to compensation or rebooking assistance.
✅ Stay calm and courteous: Airline and airport staff are working hard to resolve issues. Truly.
✅ Deep dive into reading: If you have travel insurance, check what is covered in terms of delays and cancellations. It may offer reimbursement for expenses incurred due to the disruption.
