is a small Charlotte based moving company owned and operated by a second generation lifelong mover, who grew up in the industry under the tutelage of his father, James F. Haug, the original “Road Haug”

James Haug spent over 40 years in the industry and held a plethora of positions from owner/operator and sales positions to dispatch, quality control, and operations manager. Throughout his career

he continued to provide outstanding customer service and the best quality moving experience possible, winning award after award for his exceptional service. One of his three sons, Joseph Haug, has followed in his footsteps working side by side with James Haug gaining valuable insight, knowledge, and experience, from the time he was a young boy traveling the road with his father during summer school breaks to the day he first incorporated as Road Haugs. Road Haugs has provided award winning service to all of the larger corporate moving companies such as Allied, Graebel and United Van Lines. Past Clients include military personnel, NBA and NFL players as well as Nascar drivers. From one bedroom studio apartments, to moving mansions across country, Road Haugs is the company for you!
