Backpacks & Blue - what more could you ask for?
A huge thank you to Klem Hospitality & JSI for opening both your doors and your hearts to our Books For Youth event this week!
It was a privilege to welcome foster youth and their families for a night filled with laughter and fun. Beyond the memories made, the Books For Youth program ensured that every child went home with a backpack filled with age-appropriate books to fuel their imagination.

This is a cause we have been behind for over 17 years - putting backpacks filled with age-appropriate books into the hands of Indiana Foster Youth. We were proud to have our team hand off backpacks to an amazing foster family during halftime at the Colts game.

Our team prepared backpacks filled with age-appropriate books for foster youth throughout Indiana. Jefferson Clay delivered 20 backpacks to the St Joseph County DCS office last week and we look forward to handing off backpacks to a foster family at the upcoming Colts game this weekend celebrating our 17th year as the title sponsor of the Books For Youth program.

How do you sum up 32 years of impact, dedication, and heart? You look to Patty. Today we celebrate Patty Maxwell and her remarkable 32 years of service at Cargo Services Inc. Her commitment and hard work have shaped not only the organization, but the people who have had the privilege of working with her.
When asked what advice she would give to someone just starting in the business, Patty shared a simple but powerful message: “Take care of your customers. The more you know and learn about your customers and their needs, the easier it is.” This philosophy has guided her throughout her career and continues to be the focus of our company mission.
Reflecting on the biggest industry shifts over her three decades, Patty points immediately to technology. She remembers when tracking anything meant lots and lots of telephone phone calls, and she could have never imagined how large and influential global trade would become.
As she steps into retirement, Patty is most looking forward to time with family and plenty of well-earned rest.
Congratulations, Patty, on an extraordinary career. Thank you for helping shape Cargo Services and all of us along the way.

This summer Cargo Services hosted its 11th annual graduation celebration for Indiana foster youth, honoring 41 graduates with more than 400 guests at the Indianapolis Colts Gridiron Hall.

The stats? ✅ 327 “I’m proud of you” messages in surprise videos for the graduates ✅ 6,025+ sliders, pizzas & wings chosen by the graduates enjoyed ✅ $1,200+ in personalized gifts per graduate ✅ 270 graduates celebrated over 11 years

Not everything can be measured—the applause, the tears, the joy. But for us, that’s exactly what fuels the work we do.
