Due to increases in costs, Allen Regional Transit will be increasing their rates for all rides effective June 1st 2025. We know this could be discouraging for some of our riders and not something we wanted to do, but it is necessary to keep this much needed program alive in our county. The new rates are beginning June 1st 2025. Please call 620-228-0463 if you have any questions.
ART passes are still available and the new rates for those will be $25 for 10 rides, reducing the cost to $2.50 per destination when you purchase a pass. Any of our old bus passes that have not been used after June 1st we will still honor until they are fully used. New rates are below effective June 1st 2025.
Iola City Limits: $3 per destination.
Allen County: $5 per destination.
21-30 miles: $20
31-40 miles: $30
41-50 miles: $40
51-60 miles: $50
61-80 miles: $60
81-120 miles: $70

With the incoming weather predictions and bitterly cold weather coming in tonight, Allen Regional Transit will be closed Tuesday February 18th. Stay safe out there and especially stay warm!

Due to the incoming weather and cold temperatures, Allen Regional Transit will not be giving rides the morning of February 12th. We will reevaluate the conditions around noon tomorrow to decide if we will be shut down for the whole day, will post updates here. Stay safe everyone.

With the amount of snow we got over the last 12 hours Allen Regional Transit has decided to shut down for the day. We tried to get out this morning but it just wasn’t safe. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but the safety of our drivers and riders are our first priority. Stay safe and stay warm!
