We are located on our family farm in central Michigan near the Ionia State Recreational Area We are an inspected facility and are members of the Michigan Maple syrup Producers.

Day 2 maybe 3 of tapping trees!
If you've ever been to DLF there is a hidden gem of trees we call the Swale. Its a gorgeous piece of land that has abundance of maples plus beautiful pines. The pines, I believe, were planted when our Pop, Peter, and his siblings were young. Anyway, just a beautifully, peaceful area complete with a creek running through it.
As you can see in the pictures the swale has the perfect valley where we have placed a large tank. The fellas have ran tubing that starts at the top of the hill and ends up at the tank. Thus gravity pulls the sap through the tubes, into the tank. The results are less work for us when it comes to gathering sap.

Syrup season 2026 has begun! Word on the street is that the sap is flowing as fast as the taps are going in!
