The Gogebic County Transit Authority serves the main population of Metro Ironwood City and areas of Gogebic County with Regularly scheduled flex routes provided in the Metro Ironwood Area including Bessemer, Wakefield and between Ironwood City and Marenisco/Watersmeet. The routes generally follow the U.S. 2 corridor and will deviate up to 2 miles from that corridor and from the internal local routes that service bus stops. The Ironwood to Wakefield route stops at Aspirus Grand View Hospital and certain medical offices on every run, with other common stops being Ramsay, the County Courthouse and the Gogebic Community College.
