Anyone wishing to help with the festival this year, please let us know. We need help with booths, daytime entertainment, night-time entertainment parade, baby contest, car show and any other event you may want to chair. Post on this thread or call Becky Brown. She will get you the person you need to talk to. Due to some scheduling issues, we have a couple of members that will not be in town to help.

Well the books have closed on another Railroad Festival. We have had mixed reviews; from the need for more vendors to what a great concert.
We try to cater to all age groups and always welcome comments and suggestions; without the publics input we have no idea if we're on the right track.
Many people helped on the day to make sure everything happened as planned and to them we are extremely grateful; from the City maintenance crew to judges for contests...we thank them all.
We started to worry that we were not going to have the funds to cover the costs but our sponsors stepped up and came through for us: Mastersons Auto Salvage, Irvington Gas, BBTEL, 1st State Bank, Farmers Bank, CE Smith& Sons, Save Rite Drugs, Dinner Bell 2, Krogers and IGA. Thank you so very much!
Our main goal is to provide a small town festival with free entertainment for the Community, a little bit of something for everyone. At the end of the day it's a job well done if we succeeded.

The Baby Pageant this year cuts off at age 4. Sorry for any confusion.

Okay all you wonderful vendors here's your schedule:
You can set up between 8 and 9.15am.
When you arrive come see me at the blue canopy next to the fire dept I'll tell you where to set up.
All vehicles need to be off the street by 9.30am.
Vendors close booths at 4pm.
All times eastern.
Looking forward to seeing you all :)

Parade will begin lining up at 9.30am eastern but please plan on arriving by 9.15am at the latest.

Railroad Festival is Saturday May 17. Headlining the evening is Neil Bosley and Mad Alice. Gotta come check them out. Entertainment all day. 4 PM is Hwy 60, 6PM Kentucky Clear and 8PM is Mad Alice!!!!
