It’s a Shark!! Let’s go swimming! 😀🦈
We love getting in tbe water with our friendly and lazy neighborhood Nurse Sharks! They’re pretty much harmless, just meandering around the ocean floor or rummaging around the seaweed patches. They don’t pay any attention to us and we can just watch them do their shark things!

Days like this…🌊swimming with the sea turtles and thousands of colorful tropical fish in clear warm water, it makes us feel like we’re in the Caribbean or the South Pacific, but it’s Florida! And our beautiful Islamorada backyard will never get old for us!

We went out to our secret sea turtle spot! Our hope was to find the same cute little turtle we saw a couple days in a row last month, and we did!! She even had a friend with her this time! They were peacefully munching on seagrass and we watched them do their sea turtle thing for a while, and it was amazing! We identified her by her shell. It has an indentation on the side that makes it easy to tell apart from others. It’s so amazing that we can go out into the big ocean and find the exact same sea creatures we saw over a month ago. We love the Florida Keys!!

Our backyard is pretty amazing! Today we took a ten minute boat ride out into the Atlantic Ocean to a crystal clear shallow water Sea Turtle paradise at the beautiful Alligator Reef Lighthouse!
