Delta Sailing School

Delta Sailing School is an American Sailing Association (ASA) accredited sailing school in the California Delta and San Francisco Bay. We offer a wide variety of sailing classes, and also have sailboat usage through club membership. ability! Our Basic Keelboat Class is a 4-day introductory class where you will learn to confidently and competently skipper a 22-foot sailboat in light to moderate wind and sea conditions on the San Joaquin River. We also offer 1-day Intro to Sailing classes if you'd like to have just a taste of what it's all about and 2-day Competent Crew classes if you want to be confident helping out on a sailboat as crew. Instructors are Coast Guard Licensed Captains and ASA Certified Instructors who LOVE to teach sailing! Our Delta location is about an hour south of Sacramento, an hour east of Marin, 30 minutes northwest of Stockton and just down the road from Lodi, 12 miles west of Hwy 5. Our advanced classes are taught in the SF Bay and on the Pacific Ocean, with our fleet docked in San Rafael. Great venues, awesome teachers, and tons of fun on the water - who could ask for more?
