Attending the TSA Precheck Enrollment Event by IDEMIA this week? Here is what you need to know:

- This year, the enrollment event is in the Administration / FBO Building, 1215 E Airport Rd.
- At the roundabout, take a left.
- Drive south to the parking gates.
- Pull and keep your ticket (parking is free for event attendees.)
- The event is held on the first floor in the first room on your right.
- Appointments strongly encouraged.

About the Event:

Jackson Hole Airport will be hosting a TSA PreCheck® enrollment event in collaboration with IDEMIA, an authorized TSA PreCheck enrollment provider since 2013. Travelers will be able to enroll or renew their membership at the Jackson Hole Airport Administration Building, Room 104, 1215 E Airport Rd, Jackson WY, from September 15-18, 2026, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. The TSA PreCheck Application Program is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent residents.

The enrollment process is quick, convenient, and even faster when the application is completed online beforehand. During the in-person appointment, applicants are required to provide identity and citizenship documents, fingerprints and a photo will be captured, and then pay for the application fee. IDEMIA offers TSA PreCheck enrollment for $76.75 and if approved, travelers get a five-year membership with the program.

Following the in-person enrollment appointment, most applicants receive their Known Traveler Number (KTN) in about three to five days. The KTN number must be added to flight reservations to enjoy TSA PreCheck benefits. Enrolled members have access to TSA PreCheck dedicated screening lanes at over 200 participating U.S. airports nationwide, and 99% of members wait 10 minutes or less in a screening lane. TSA PreCheck passengers travel with ease and keep their shoes, belts and light jackets on and keep laptops, 3-1-1 liquids and food items in their bags. Picking up friends or family at Jackson Hole Airport? Here are our tips for a seamless experience!

1. Check their flight status at jacksonholeairport.com
2. Use curbside pickup when your passenger already has their bags and is ready to go! This zone is for activley loading or unloading.
3. Use the cellphone lot if they need a few extra minutes. There are four spaces in our cellphone lot to coordinate with your friends or family while they make their way outside.
4. Short term parking is free for 1.5 hours! Flight delayed? You arrived too early? Park, stretch your legs and enjoy the fresh air in the courtyard adjacent to short term parking, outside of bag claim.

JAC and IDEMIA are hosting a TSA PreCheck enrollment event, ready to make your U.S. travel easier. If you're not already part of the TSA PreCheck program, you can now pre-enroll and schedule your in-person appointment at Jackson Hole Airport - 1215 East Airport Rd, Jackson, WY 83001.

Appointments are available on a first come first served basis, so we recommend applying as soon as possible.
3 Easy Steps to TSA PreCheck
1. Apply online: Submit an online application and schedule an appointment at Jackson Hole, WY- Pop-Up: JAC, 9/15-9/18
2. Enroll in person: Come to Jackson Hole Airport to complete the less than 10-minute enrollment which includes capturing your fingerprints and photo for the TSA background check. Be sure to bring documentation proving your identity and citizenship status.
3. Get your Known Traveler Number (KTN): Most travelers get their KTN in three to five days.
What is TSA PreCheck?

Each year, a sculpture restoration team carefully cleans and waxes the sculpture to preserve its patina and remove mineral buildup, helping ensure this iconic welcome to Jackson Hole continues to greet travelers for years to come.

Flying to Jackson? Here’s some bear safety guidelines from our friends at Visit Jackson Hole.

We’d like to add some additional dos and don’ts:
- DO Return your Bear Aware bear spray rentals to the Bear Aware kiosk in baggage claim, or recycle your bear spray in the marked receptacles at our multi-stream recycling bins before security.
- DON’T Bring bear spray in your checked or carry-on luggage.
