Touch-A-Truck was a huge success! Thank you to the Jackson Hole Children's Museum for putting on such an engaging community event. Check out these future firefighters in action!

From climbing aboard our Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting truck to making some splashes in the Mini Firefighter Challenge, the day was packed with fun.

Touch-A-Truck is almost here, and we’re returning as the reigning “Favorite Vehicle” champs!

Join us at the Children’s Museum Touch-A-Truck event tomorrow, Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Jackson Elementary School Fields.

Stop by the Jackson Hole Airport booth to:

Installing new glycol collection tanks at JAC. Swipe to see the "before" photo!

This installation is part of the Airport’s deice pad improvement process, a multi-year effort to improve safety, increase efficiency, and reduce environmental impacts during our winter operations.

The improvements now underway will better equip the Airport to separate glycol from stormwater, with the goal of enabling future recycling of the recovered glycol.

Thank you to the crews working on this important project.

On Thursday, the Jackson Hole Airport welcomed the Bridger Aerospace Super Scoopers, specialized firefighting aircraft from Montana, for a refuel as they assist with suppression efforts on the Spread Creek Fire.

Each plane can collect up to 1,412 gallons of water from nearby lakes or rivers and deliver low-altitude drops directly onto active fire zones.

We are grateful to the crews working to protect our region and communities.

You’ll find four multi-stream recycling stations throughout the terminal for aluminum, plastic, and newspaper. Thanks for taking the time to sort your recyclables when you visit the Jackson Hole Airport.

Students from C-V Ranch visited our Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting facility here at JAC for a behind-the-scenes tour with our amazing safety team. We’re grateful to be part of opportunities like this that connect youth with hands-on experiences and for the people who keep our airport running safely every day.

The Jackson Hole Airport will be conducting a planned emergency training exercise on the evening of Wednesday, April 15 from approximately 6:00 to 8:00pm.

Live fires and emergency responder activity, including lights and sirens, primarily on the airfield and near the terminal area may be visible from homes or roadways.

This training exercise is required by the FAA to ensure our teams and mutual aid partners are prepared to respond effectively in the event of an emergency. There will be no impact to flights or normal airport operations.
