Today I had a guy call and ask for a quote to wash and wax his 23' ski boat. After telling him $700-900, and describing all the services that would include over a 7-8 hour time frame, he disclosed that he just had a 17 year old kid spend 3 hours on the boat and charged him $700! He couldn't get off the phone with me fast enough! I could feel his anger through the phone. I hope he was calling the kid to get him to come back and give him his money's worth.
Never mind the kid certainly didn't have a business license or liability insurance.

We were extremely grateful to have the opportunity to fix the mess another "Detailer" left behind, and refused to fix after two months of excuses. This boat was covered in compound so thick an agressive scrubbing with a medium/heavy brush wouldn't remove it. We were able to remove the residue, and perform a proper polish and wax with premium products and the correct equipment.
There are more "Detailing" companies in our area than I have ever seen in my 15 years in this business. Most have little to no experience, no insurance, and no integrity. What they do have is cheap prices. The old saying " Cheap work isn't good, and good work isn't cheap" is so true!
Give me a call if you need anything from monthly cleaning and maintenance to a full gelcoat recovery and color correction.

This one was a challenge! This kind gentleman gave the boat to his grandson. When the motor broke down, the boat sat in a storage lot for over 3 years. The customer was going to sell it after we finished cleaning/compounding/polishing/detailing, but now he’s going to get the motor fixed and give the boat to another family member! We love our happy customers!

The appropriate candidate must learn quickly, be organized, have reliable transportation, and have great attention to detail. The job requires some local travel, though 80% of our work is being done at the shop. You MUST have your own vehicle to attend to our mobile jobs. Previous experience working outdoors is a plus, because it does get hot. Tasks will include performing immaculate washes, wet and dry sanding damaged gelcoat, compounding/polishing/waxing, polishing metals, removing stains, etc.
Hourly pay begins at $12, but I quickly reward employees who are punctual, conscientious, honest, and valuable to our team.
