WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

You may have already seen the pictures of Royal Princess arriving at Thunderbolt Marine near Savannah, Georgia… but you haven't heard the whole story!

We were preparing to leave Jacksonville and begin our 15+ hour journey north for Royal Princess's mandatory biennial U.S. Coast Guard hull inspection.

Everything was ready. The crew was ready.

Then… one of our starters decided not to cooperate.

What was supposed to be a smooth departure turned into an unexpected two-hour mechanical challenge!

So, how did we make it through this challenge and finally get Royal Princess from Jacksonville, Florida, to Thunderbolt Marine near Savannah, Georgia?
