One of summer's hottest trends is cool - the "coolcation", that is! Alpine summer is one of this year's coolest European travel trends - spending the hotter months in the mountains rather than at the beach.

As Europe braces itself for another heatwave, demand for vacationing in cooler destinations remains a very hot topic in travel right now. Travelers are swapping crowded beaches and hot cities for milder mountain air, scenic hiking trails, and refreshing swimming lakes.
