This month, we’d like to recognize the hard work of Aimee Wisniewski, Operations Supervisor at Liquid Freight. Aimee has been at Liquid Freight for shy of two years and says she loves the team she works with at HJG and appreciates the opportunities she’s gotten to learn about other aspects of the company.

Outside of work, you can find her at the hockey rink supporting her son, and in the offseason, she enjoys hiking, boating, and spending time with family and friends. Aimee loves all things Halloween and decorating the for the season.

Chris commends Aimee by saying, “Aimee is always looking to take on new tasks, and asking what more she can do to help. She loves to learn more about different areas of the business to be a better asset to the company and keep us moving forward.”

This month’s Hagen Johnson Group employee of the month is Lisa Zopf. Lisa has been an Operations Specialist for Liquid Freight for a little over two years. She enjoys interacting with carriers, especially negotiating to secure more competitive and cost-effective rates that helps increase the company’s profit margins. She also appreciates the variety of personalities she encounters, from driver to driver.

Outside of work, she loves hiking and kayaking, thanks to her wife. They enjoy visiting different states, exploring caves, going night kayaking and finding waterfalls. A unique fact about Lisa is that she has been a surrogate twice- once with twins!

Aimee, Operations Supervisor, says, “Lisa is always willing to go above and beyond to secure a load, and is great at building relationships with our customers and carriers. Thank you for all of your hard work on an hourly, daily and weekly basis. It is great to have a partner in operations I can always depend on.”

It's National Logistics Day.

A moment to share about our frontline teams Moving Food Forward at Hagen Johnson Group!

From the mechanics, to the tank wash operators, to the dispatchers, to the captains safely piloting 80,000 lbs. of food through traffic, logistics is a team sport.

They're all wonderfully gritty. You can't scare them away from work and good luck challenging them with a problem they won't handle professionally.

At the same time they have to be precise and detailed as a single load of food can be utilized in a million portions. Trailers have to be perfectly clean. Trucks have to be in safe working order. The material handling has to be perfect right along with all the paperwork.

So "Cheers!" to everyone in logistics. A special "Cheers!" to those in the food grade supply chain.

Every liquid product we haul somehow originates from agriculture so it was extra special to be able to tour Glacier Edge Dairy, a beautiful local dairy farm that milks roughly 750 Jersey cattle. Employees were able to see the production behind one of the types of food we haul!

Also, get out to a dairy breakfast in your county this coming June!

Our President, Brandon Johnson, also serves as the President of the International Milk Haulers Association. Last week, he attended the Association's 24th Annual Convention in Charlotte, NC, and even played golf with his daughter Teagen while there. We are proud that our company leaders are working to strengthen our industry!
