This is why I love the hiker community! 🙌
Hiker “One Penny One” who is doing a Eastern Continental Trail (ECT). Spanning roughly 4,800 to 5,700 miles Hike raising money for various organizations. Stopped by Swatara and asked if he could help with any projects that I might need help with.
The first project that popped in my mind was replacing our treacherous step’s entering the property. After a little brainstorming and coming up with a game plan on Friday. We decided to start on Saturday morning.
Saturday morning came along and we started off with a project that we had thought would take a few hours. Well 7 hours later we finally finished up. We used 20 fifty pound bags of concrete and had to make several adjustments to our plan along the way. It was a long, hot day of physical labor. On a day that was supposed to be a relaxing for One Penny One. We worked great together and the very next morning he was heading NOBO shortly after 8am! 💥 💪🏼 💥
