The fullness of time has come. Another round of Garlic to plant. This is the best of what Beth harvested in July, stored in the basement and ready to be divided into cloves, planted and mulched by variety. She will update to tell how many are planted. Last year was about 500. Next July they will be lifted, cleaned, dried and sorted for sale. It’s definitely a process.

REMINDER: Good morning garlic enthusiasts. This is the week you've all been waiting for! Beth's garlic distribution will take place in our driveway Saturday July 26th, from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM. Pre-orders will be ready to be picked up. In addition, there will be several available, unspoken for, custom clay garlic pots, freshly picked green beans, and very possibly even some fresh zucchini, and freshly made bouquets of flowers cut from Beth's gardens! PM us if you need our Texas Township street address. Cash and personal checks, made payable to Beth Wagaman, are acceptable methods of payment.

My organically grown garlic crop is in and curing! Saturday morning July 26 will be the main distribution day. I am taking orders now on a first come first served basis. There are 5 varieties available that each have a juicy sweet flavor and some will store until March next year! I try to give an assortment of varieties and label them from 1-5 as to which to use first, second and so on. Orders need to be in increments of $5 starting at $10. I will bag up by name and you can pick up preferably on Saturday July 26 but can make another time starting Friday 25th. In the photo are locally made garlic pots that will be available for $30 with one large one for $40. Great to store your garlic on the counter. Also available will be a by product of garlic growing, wheat bundles for decorative fall display! These will be $5 each and I would like orders from you all to make enough for those who want them. Let the games begin!

GREETINGS Garlic Enthusiasts:

The moment that we've all been waiting for has arrived! Multiple international varieties of Beth's 2024 garlic crop have been "lifted", and will be sorted, washed, dried, clipped, and will be ready for your favorite recipes and months of enjoyment real soon! As described, last year, our plan is to provide you with curbside service, from our Texas Township home. We are located just a mile East of the "Fresh on Q" Texas Township Farmers' Market pavilion. Please Facebook Message Beth to put in your pre-order, in $5.00 increments, before they are all spoken for! Beth will sort out the finest heads available for you and you can pick up your order, from our driveway, on Saturday July 13th, between 8:00 AM and 12:30 PM. Acceptable methods of payment include cash and personal check. As explained, over the years, the largest garlic heads always go first and the tightest wrapped heads will last you well into next Winter, when stored in a cool, dark, and dry storage area. Beth will number the heads, in the order in which they should be consumed, as she knows which varieties last the longest.

In addition to Beth's garlic, we will be offering a number of different colors of custom-made ceramic garlic storage pots for you to consider for yourself and for gifts. They keep your garlic cool, dark, and dry. The perfect combination for garlic storage, in an attractive artsy package!

Hello GARLIC Enthusiasts:

REMINDER - Tomorrow, Saturday July 22rd, between 8:00 AM and 12:30 PM, is when to come and pick up your pre-ordered GARLIC. In addition, and while supplies last, Beth will also have some of her gorgeous freshly picked and custom arranged flower bouquets for only $6.00 per bouquet, vase excluded. There will also be a limited amount of her freshly picked award-winning green beans for a mere $3.00 per quart bag.

As has been in the past, we continue to not have a way to process a credit or debit card. Cash and personal checks, made out to Beth Wagaman, are our acceptable methods of payment.

Hello to all of my garlic loving friends! The fullness of garlic time has come and we will have orders taken for our awesome garlic. The distribution day will be Saturday July 22 in the morning, right from our driveway. Early birds may also be able to snag some flowers or green beans. Message me for the amount of garlic you would like so I can pre package it for you. First come first served as I sold out last year in 1 day.

Hello neighbors! I have ostrich ferns that I need to thin out, as I’m having less shade. Here they are right now, in my border, and can easily be dug out and placed in your yard. I live on South 10th St. and will be around a lot this weekend. We can set a time for you to come and I can dig the plants for you. Six ferns for only $10. Just bring a tub, bushel basket, or box with you to put them in, and then put them right into your yard.

For any of you who missed our announcement, during our 13th season of representing Backyard Bounty, at our local “Fresh on Q” Texas Township Farmers' Market last season, we decided to end that chapter of our lives and enjoy some time together camping and traveling. However, Beth Wagaman still planted well over 500 garlic plants, last Fall, and will be notifying you of its progress and availability. Our plans are to take pre-orders, and have it ready for you to stop by our Texas Township home for “curbside service”. As Beth has done her best to explain, over the past 13-years, garlic grows but once per season and does not continue to reproduce. Therefore, if you know that you’ll be wanting your fair share, please send us a Facebook PM with your order to secure your 2022 garlic!
