✈️ 52 AIRCRAFT. 104 PARTICIPANTS. ONE MEMORABLE KANAB WEEKEND!

Whether you joined us, followed along from home, or hope to come next time, thank you for being part of our canard community!

Our official final count for the 2026 Rutan Fly-In was 52 aircraft and 104 Fly-In participants, plus the public visitors who joined us Saturday. The aircraft total corrects earlier counts that included some duplicates.

🌤️ MONDAY MORNING ON THE COURSE

The Turner Classic was scrubbed due to weather, but five aircraft stayed and flew the course Monday morning just for fun! The graphic shows their reported average airspeeds, fastest first. These were informal flights—not official Turner Classic competition results.

✈️❤️ SAFE TRAVELS HOME, KANAB CREW!

What a weekend.

As everyone starts pointing noses toward home, we’re wishing you safe, smooth travels and a great flight or drive back.

Director Kevin Curran will be there for a Q&A following the film. Kevin has filmed major milestones for Blue Origin, SpaceX Starship, and Meta/NASA Artemis—making this an especially meaningful opportunity to see the documentary with him in the theater.

The program will also include a special video memorial tribute and rare footage featuring Mike Melvill.

Beyond Blue Sky was recently released on Apple TV in 46 countries and on Amazon Prime Video in the U.S. and U.K., but this is a unique chance to experience it on the big screen with the director and our Rutan community.
