Aircraft management is so much more than crews and hangars — maintenance is the backbone.

During a routine post-flight inspection, our EquityJet Maintenance Team spotted subtle engine damage invisible from the ground. Closer examination revealed FOD (Foreign Object Debris) impact not just on the blade, but also on the stator — damage that, if undetected, could have progressed to major engine failure.

Huge shout-out and salute to our skilled maintenance professionals for their sharp eyes, quick action, and dedication to safety. They caught it early and prevented what could have become a serious — or even catastrophic — issue down the line.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Duties and Requirements:
Must currently hold A&P license
5+ years experience working with corporate jets experience a plus
Citation and Falcon experience desired but not required
Assisting Director of Maintenance (DOM) with company tasks, ensuring aircraft databases are kept up to date when new cycles come out, assisting DOM with maintenance tracking.
Maintain company assets (aircraft tugs, vehicles, GPUs, etc…)
Assist in towing aircraft in and out of hangar when required
Order parts and ensure that cores are returned promptly
May be assigned to perform Flight Mechanic duties as required
Assist DOM in regular maintenance, pre and post flight checks, oxygen and nitrogen and fluid servicing, etc… of all managed aircraft
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays when required to meet client and company objectives
Flexibility - Ability to adapt to changes at a moment’s notice and realign priorities to best serve the goals of the department

Our own Dennis Morgan recently received a 5 Star Google review for his quick attention to an AOG aircraft at the Kansas City Downtown Airport - Wheeler Field - MKC. Dennis was credited with an immediate response time, which allowed the aircraft to be serviced and ready for an on time departure! Great work, Dennis!

We would like to welcome our newest client to the EquityJet family, the owners of this stunning Pilatus PC12 NGX! This acquisition marks our third PC12 and is our first NGX model.

The Pilatus PC12 is an excellent blend of operating cost value and performance, especially on missions less than 1,000 miles and for destinations with short or unimproved runways. With seating for up to eight and ample storage for skis, golf clubs, overnight bags, etc… the PC12 is known to haul major payloads. The latest NGX model also offers upgraded avionics and full FADEC engine control with RPM reduction for a quieter cabin experience.
