Murmuration Eatery & Cocktail Bar is finally open in The City Market - Kansas City! We were excited to check out this sister concept to long-standing City Market Coffee. It didn't disappoint.

The space was open and welcoming with teal accents. We loved the beautiful bird-themed mural on the wall, comprised of native Missouri birds, and other subtle aviary touches.

The most incredible dinner at Noka last weekend was made even more special by the chef owner bringing one of our dishes - the edamame toast 😋 - to share his inspiration behind the recipe.

Personal touches like that just really make a restaurant experience memorable. The Kansas City dining scene has so many gems.

The food was too good - we forgot to take pictures!

We went to the holiday pop-up bar at J. Rieger & Co. - Sippin' Santa at the Hey! Hey! Club - last weekend! It was a good time! We loved the tropical theme. What have been your favorite holiday pop-up bars this year?

We have tickets to the Holiday Harmonies barbershop choruses show at Folly Theatre - we're excited!

If you haven't been to a holiday show yet, this would be a great weekend for it. There are several to choose from.

For the families, there are many festive kid activities happening this weekend as well.

The cutest little donut trolley there ever was. We love this old KCMO trolley car turned into a donut shop with coffee and cocktails! It's a must visit when you're visiting City Market.
