When your company receives a review as wonderful as this one, you know you have the Best Crew in the business!
My parents recently made the move to an independent living community. This involved selling their house and all that goes with the before, during and after of a home sale – made more significant by down-sizing after 27 years of accumulation. The decision to move was an emotional one, but the physical details of all that needed to be done was even more overwhelming. Thank goodness the new community shared that there are companies that specialize in helping people plan and prepare for moves like this. We chose Lone Star Transitions (LST) partially because we liked what we read in the “About” section of their website. Little did we know what an amazing choice we made!
The owners, Crystal and Greg Drake, were involved in every aspect of the planning and ex*****on. Their team works together like they’re family/friends rather than co-workers. That personal touch also extends to their customers and helps build trust – which is great because their guidance helped my parent’s make some difficult decisions.
The level of detail in each phase of their process was impressive, from:
-Assessing existing furniture and creating a visual custom floor plan of the new home - helping to determine what would fit (and work well) in the new space, to
-Focusing FIRST on getting my parents settled in their new home…packed everything to be moved, then unpacked/organized it in the new home, to
-Coordinating/supervising the movers, to
-Determining which items left behind should be auctioned (optional) vs. donated and handling both the auction and donation
Because of Lone Star Transitions involvement, my parent’s move from the home they loved was an easier, smoother and much more positive experience! To top it off, we made some new friends!
