The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly.

The Euro has gained significant ground since the beginning of the year. We have just had the first round of price increases set for the U.S. as of August 1st, 2017

The Good: Any boats left in U.S. inventories can still be sold at an exchange rate of $1.10 U.S.
The Bad: As of August 1st, 2017 there will be significant price increases and pricing will change to an exchange rate of $1.19 U.S.
The Ugly: As illustrated by the charts, the Euro has broken out of it's trading pattern and will continue to increase with uncertainty in U.S. politics in the near term causing more price increases on U.S. boat inventories and orders.

If you are a seller of a boat...this is GREAT news! If you are a buyer and have had your eye on a boat (new or used), you can expect to pay more in the near term.

Texas Coast Yachts still has the following boats in inventory or on order that can be sold at the lower exchange rate. Once these are sold, the consumer can expect to pay 10's of thousands more. Please give me a call to discuss these further.
