We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and team-oriented individual to fulfill an Outside Sales Position. This is a salary/bonus position that includes: benefits, 401K, and a car allowance. Experience in the petroleum and/or transportation industry is preferred. The candidate must also have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Outside Sales Representative - JOB DESCRIPTION

Person is responsible for managing a territory of existing business and generating new business within the assigned territory. The Outside Representative will directly report to the COO/General Manager. This person will spend approximately 85% of their time in the field and 15% in the office, with a minimum expectation for hours in the field of 8am to 5pm. The primary focus of the sales representative will be to increase sales and solve issues with existing customers, and actively solicit new business leads thru referrals and cold calls on a daily basis.

In addition to the aforementioned items the Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

1. Sales Calls - Completing a minimum of 10 sales calls per day with existing customers and new business leads. Additionally, this person will solicit new business and manage existing business by use of telephone, email, fax, and other means throughout the course of normal business.
2. Leads -- Follow up on all leads solicited via cold call or provided by other members of the Ace/Etheridge Team.
3. Reporting -- Document detailed daily activities on all existing accounts and new business. Additionally, be prepared to provide information to the COO/General Manager on account activity during sales meetings, via email, or when otherwise requested.
4. Administrative -- Prepare all documents associated with new business activity to include credit applications, ROI's, work orders, tank agreements, and proposals. All new business must have the approval of the COO/General Manager and/or GM. This person will also be responsible to provide a weekly summary of new business activity to the COO/General Manager on every Friday.
5. Pricing - This person will recommend pricing to COO/General Manager for all prospects and existing accounts. Will present COO/General Manager with all logistics so that a price quote can be prepared and approved. Each customer's pricing will be reviewed periodically for reasonability. NO QUOTES TO BE GIVEN WITHOUT APPROVAL OF COO AND/OR GENERAL MANAGER.
6. Benchmarking/Competitive Analysis - This person will develop methods and provide consistent feedback to compare Ace/Etheridge prices with its competition to ensure our competitiveness in an assigned territory.
7. Profitability -- This person will assist the COO/General Manager to evaluate the profitability for customers in an assigned territory and make appropriate recommendations for changes.
8. Meetings / Training -- This person will be responsible for attending all sales/driver meetings and training sessions throughout the year. At times, this individual may be challenged with preparing or researching information pertinent to the meeting or training session(s).
9. Teamwork -- This person will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of all departments within Ace/Etheridge to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve service excellence.
10. Drive Sales - Overall time management and ex*****on of the C&I business plan to meet all budgetary numbers. This will be accomplished through the use of unique and concrete methods of increasing sales and margins.
