Boat Werx of Texas is looking to add an Entry-Level / Apprentice Marine Technician to our team!

If you enjoy working with your hands, love learning new skills, and have an interest in boats and marine engines, we'd love to hear from you. Experience is a plus, but it's not required—we're looking for someone with a great attitude, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to learn.

Dear customers,

To ensure we can complete our current projects as quickly as possible and provide the quality of service our customers expect, we will not be accepting any new boats for service next week -August 3rd to 7th-

Our office will remain open, and we will still be available to answer phone calls, respond to emails, assist with parts orders, schedule future appointments, and answer any questions you may have. However, boat drop-offs and new service intake will resume the following week.

Our service department will resume accepting new boats the following week.

The reason this Sea-Doo wouldn't start... 👇
This is the fuel we drained from a customer's Sea-Doo that wouldn't start.

At first glance, it doesn't look that bad... but contaminated or old fuel can cause:
❌ Hard starting
❌ Poor performance
❌ Clogged fuel filters
❌ Injector and fuel system issues

Sometimes the problem isn't the engine at all... it's what's sitting in the fuel tank.

Yesterday, after work, our technician spent his evening cleaning the Flat Rock boat ramp after the devastating floods.

After speaking with the County Commissioner, he was given permission to begin clearing the ramp so we could safely launch customer boats again. He also agreed to scan the lake and report any hazards to Texas Parks & Wildlife.

What started with one message quickly turned into an incredible community effort, with volunteers showing up ready to help. Together, they cleared the ramp in just a couple of hours.

We want to say thank you to everyone who gave their time and worked so hard. This isn't just about getting boats back in the water—it's about neighbors helping neighbors and taking the first steps toward getting our community back on its feet.

The ramp isn't open to the public just yet, and there's still plenty of work to do, but this is a huge step in the right direction.

We're proud to be part of such an amazing community. ❤️🚤
