Taquan Air - Ketchikan Alaska Serving and exploring Alaska, one floatplane ride at a time! 🌲✈️ Taquan Air operates 7 de Havilland Beavers and 3 de Havilland Otters.

Throughout the year we provide scheduled services to the surrounding communities and on demand charters to cabins, lakes and other locations. During the summer months from May through early October, we offer a variety of shore excursions including the Deluxe Misty Fjords Flightseeing and Bear Viewing Adventures.

As we get close to the end of tour season, we’re quickly shifting into our winter pace — shorter days, colder mornings, and that all‑too‑familiar Southeast Alaska hibernation season. But as our tours take a pause, Taquan will continue flying freight, mail, and local passengers all year‑round 💙

We had an unforgettable time at the annual Culture Camp in Hydaburg last week 💭

For over 3 decades, the Culture Camp has gathered elders, artists, and youth who come together to embrace the Haida culture and partake in traditional dance, language, song, art, crafts, carving, weaving, beading, fishing/boating, regalia, and more!

A huge thank you to Hydaburg and everyone at the Culture Camp for welcoming us and being so kind to let us participate in the festivities ❤️🤍

Also, special thanks to Harbormaster/MAIL Courier Hank Alameda for helping us out!
