Ridiculous mangrove snapper on top water plug last week on a backcountry fishing charter.
Capt. Abigail of Dream Catcher Charters had her client tossing this MrroLure top dog. She led him to a nice catch and that seals the fate on this very nice shallow water Key West mangrove snapper.
It's not uncommon for our captains to lead our anglers to nice sized lunches like this dark meat snapper. Bet he exploded on that thing..

Shhhh.... it's a secret 😎.. A large segment of our business has asked for it so here it is. We shopped very hard for a great combination that gets shallow, fishes well, has an enclosed bathroom, a little more comfort and some shade..... Of course, like all of our boats this one will be loaded with all the latest in everything. Outfitted to the teeth with DAIWA and AFTCO, and (you guessed it) powered by Mercury Marine.
We think this boat will check a lot of boxes. We have the feeling there will be a lot of tarpon and other species getting their feelings hurt real soon..

Our famous family fun bus got some new shoes last week. Brand new Mercury 150 Fourtroke outboard motors.. We have been using the 150 platform for a many years now after stepping down from larger engines. All kinds of gains in weight, economy and ease of use over the larger platforms of power we had. Coupled with the Mercury Eco Enertia Props these are without a doubt our favorite motor / application for this boat.

Capt Herbie making memories for these folks..
My dad and I had the best time with Captain Herbie H today! We caught a TON of snapper and others like it! Saw a bunch of tarpon but weren’t successful with them. The day was perfect and so fun! We will def be back!

What a great way to start the day... Loaded up with the right equipment.. Of course all of our boats are powered by Mercury Marine bolted to Bobs Machine shop jack plates, maneuvered in the shallows by the Power Pole MOVE trolling motor, held in place for our technical fishing by Power Pole Blades, loaded with DAIWA rods and reels the Outfitted with AFTCO. Then using some of the best in bay boats in the industry.
