Honoring the Heart of Yellow Cab: Carol Sharpe (1940–2026)
It is with heavy hearts that the Yellow Cab family shares the passing of our longtime owner, Carol Sharpe, who passed away yesterday at 86 years old after a brave battle with Dementia.
For 30 years, Carol was the quiet force behind Yellow and Lightning Taxi here in Kingman. To many, she was the business owner who kept the cabs rolling day and night. But to those who truly knew her, she was a guardian angel on wheels.
Carol believed that everyone deserved a safe way home. Countless times over the decades, she gave rides to people who didn't have a single penny in their pockets, and she was known to give her last dollar to help someone in need. She loved this community fiercely and served it with unwavering generosity and heart.
While we mourn her loss, we are deeply grateful for the decades of memories, hard work, and kindness she gave to Kingman. Her legacy of service will always remain at the core of who we are.
Rest in peace, Carol. Thank you for taking care of all of us for so many years. ❤️
