Epcot at night was magical!

I almost didn’t get to ride Guardians of the Galaxy. We had lightning lanes because we knew it would be hard switching out waiting with Little Lane if we didn’t.

Well I got through the line fairly quick (maybe 15 minutes), then we made it through the pre-shows, and my group was on its way to the load area when they came over the intercom…

…there is a delay. We will let you know when we can resume the ride.

Well great! My guys are waiting on me outside, I’m slightly terrified of a ride malfunction when I get on now, who knows how long we have to wait or if we’ll even get to ride.

I honestly didn’t pay attention to the time. It might have been 10 more minutes, 20, even 30. 🤷🏻‍♀️But since I was a single rider I think I got on quicker in the load area.

If you see my face in this picture, I’ll give you one guess if you think the wait was worth it…

Unfortunately the line had grown tremendously during that time and Jarred didn’t want to wait that long when we had so much else to do that evening. He will get his redemption ride one day!

Gaston’s Tavern was on my list of must try foods!
We started early entry in Tomorrowland, worked through lightning lanes in most of Fantasyland before stopping for our “breakfast” at Gaston’s Tavern.

We all 3 shared the Ham & Gruyère Sandwich and the Crème Brûlée croissant. The sandwich came with a bag of plain Lay’s.

We washed it all down with a LeFou’s brew, which was interesting and refreshing.

We were lucky enough to have our day at Hollywood Studios scheduled for the same day Lilypad’s Jams was introduced as part of Alien Swirling Saucers in Toy Story Land!

My biggest regret now that we’re home…not enjoying our resort more.

We’re likely a Disney once every 3-5 years kind of family if we’re lucky. I only went once as a kid and Jarred had never been. We tried to fit as much as we could into our stay, including a rest day and enjoying things outside the parks.

We ate at our resort a couple times and slept there. We utilized early entry for 2 parks and loved the Skyliner.

We didn’t end up with time to enjoy any of the 3 pools or splash pad. Some of this was weather related as it was rainy on days we had scheduled time for this. We didn’t get to participate in any resort activities like roasting marshmallows, movies by the pool, or making tie dye shirts.

If I had to do it all over again, I’d probably only do 2-3 parks and stay 7-8 days to enjoy the resort and have a little more downtime.

The arcade at Pop Century was a great size and had loads of arcade games. Too bad we didn’t really make enough time to enjoy it.

We let Little Lane have some fun the morning we left because we knew we’d be in the car ALL day long. He had a blast and cried when we had to leave.

It would be the perfect spot for your kiddos on a resort and/or rainy day.
