🇺🇸 From the City That Never Sleeps to the Pocono Mountains…

Many NYC First Responders choose to call the Pocono area home when they retire, and we’re proud to have worked with so many of them along the way.

These men and women spent their careers serving, protecting, and caring for others. It’s an honor to help them make their move and begin their next chapter here in the Poconos.

Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and all that you’ve done for others. ❤️💙

We’re proud to have been a small part of your journey home.

Important note if you are considering a local mover.
'Minimum Hours Required' charges are common among movers.

WE HAVE NO MINIMUM HOURS REQUIREMENTS.

I believe we are the only PA PUC Certificated movers in this area with no minimum hours requirements. We charge only for the time you use us, billed to the next *quarter-hour.

Studio and one-bedroom moves often take less than two hours.
Depending on day and time of your move, you could wind up paying substantial and unnecessary costs.

Be sure to CHECK and RECORD the moving company's required minimums when gathering moving-cost info.

*We bill in quarter-hour increments.
By the way, most other movers bill in half-hour increments, not quarter-hour, and a few even use full hours. To our way of thinking- that's not fair and we don't do it.

Not many! You know why.
See where it says, "2012 Angies List Super Service Award? Well we've won the award for superior service every year since as well, 8 years in a row.
(That will teach me to order 5000 printed pieces of anything.)

HERE IS HOW YOU SAVE SOME SERIOUS $$$$ ON MOVING.
We load it for you. ODFL drives it to it's destination. Qualified local people, hired by us, unload at the destination. Watch the short videos; they are very helpful.

How much can you save? All things being equal, typical savings are 25% to 40% over full service movers. Need additional information? Call us.

Btw, several other freight lines offer this service, among them ABF Upack which is probably better known than ODFL, (Old Dominion Freight Lines). What's the difference? Ask us.

Glad you asked. For starters, OD saves you money over traditional full-service movers because with ODMOVE moving services you do the packing and loading yourself. What you won't have to deal with is the hassle of renting a truck and driving it yourself because we do the driving for you. OD understan...

AT LONG LAST, we've set about the task of upgrading our page. Hello 21st century. Stay tuned. More is on the way.

Don't hesitate to post your comments here. Complimentary or critical, lay it all out. We want to hear what you think.

We've been notified by Angie's List that BestDarnMovers is once again the recipient of their annual Super Service Award, awarded to the top 5% of all service suppliers. Our first Angie's List review was in 2012 and we've received that coveted award EACH and EVERY year since then. That's eight years in a row and looking now to make it six. No NEPA mover comes close.

By the way, it isn't just Angie's List. Locally we are #1 on Yelp, YP.com, Thumbtack.com, Uship.com, and referenced as well on several of the moving message boards. We invite your scrutiny.

As always- never hesitate with any questions.
