We think a lot of parents will be happy about this change ⬇

When Bluey's Wild World debuted at Disney's Animal Kingdom last week, access was handled through a virtual queue. While virtual queues can work well in some situations, this one felt a little different.

Imagine planning an entire Animal Kingdom day around a Bluey-loving toddler, only to find out there was no guarantee you'd get the opportunity to participate.

Beginning June 2, Disney is moving to a traditional standby queue instead.

Will there still be a wait? Probably. But there's a big difference between choosing to wait for something your child loves and finding out you didn't secure a virtual queue spot at all.

For families visiting Walt Disney World this summer, this change brings a little more predictability to the day and a little less chance of disappointment.

We know many young guests have been eagerly waiting to meet Bluey and Bingo, and we're glad Disney adjusted the process so more families can make informed decisions about how they spend their time.

Today I’m celebrating five years as a Travel Planner with Dreaming of the Mouse, and as I reflect on this journey, I am so grateful. 🫶🏻

Grateful for every client who has trusted me with your family vacations, celebrations, anniversaries, reunions, and memory-making moments.

Grateful also for those who have referred friends and family, shared my posts, recommended my services, engaged with my content, and cheered me on along the way. Even if we’ve never planned a trip together, your support has played a part in helping this business grow.

And especially grateful to Sara & the team at Dreaming of the Mouse. The training, resources, and ongoing support I’ve received has equipped me to continue learning, growing, and providing the highest level of service to my clients.

Over these five years, this work has become more than a profession; it has been a meaningful way to put my skills, knowledge, and interests into practice. It has given me the gift of continual learning, the joy of serving others well, and the deep fulfillment that comes from helping families create lasting memories, all while remaining present at home with my family and continuing to homeschool our boys.

Disney recently announced updates are coming to Carousel of Progress, and if I'm being honest, this one makes me a little sad.

As a child, a teenager, an adult, and later as a mother, Carousel of Progress was always there. Through different seasons of life, different vacations, and different people sitting beside me in that theater.

Every time I enjoyed it, I wasn't just experiencing the attraction. I was remembering all the times I'd experienced it before.

Maybe that's why this feels emotional.

Progress means moving forward, even when part of us wishes we could stay where we are just a little longer.

Here's hoping Disney remembers the heart of what made it special in the first place.

One of the most underrated Disney “tips”?

Book the vacation your family will actually ENJOY… not the one social media tells you you’re supposed to have.

Sometimes that means:
✨ slower mornings
✨ more pool time
✨ fewer dining reservations
✨ skipping the 6 AM Rope Drop stress

And honestly? Those trips are usually the most memorable. 💙

Listen… not every Disney strategy online is going to work for every family.

The American flag is raised each morning before the park opens, and at day’s end, the Flag Retreat ceremony honors an active duty service member or veteran in a moving tribute of gratitude.

🇺🇸 On this Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor those who gave everything for our freedom.

Your sacrifice is never forgotten - thank you for your service.
