Sometimes you don’t need a new destination to make new memories!
Just back from a relaxing 4-night cruise to the Bahamas, with stops at beautiful Ocean Cay and Nassau. I didn’t take many pictures this time since we sailed on the same ship and visited the same places last year.
But this cruise was special for another reason — we celebrated my husband’s birthday! A few days at sea, sunshine, beautiful views and time together made it a perfect birthday getaway.
Sometimes it’s not about where you go, but who you share the journey with.

This photo takes me back to where it all began.
Eleven years ago, in my first little office in Morrison, Tennessee. I started my travel business in March 2013 with a dream, a lot to learn, and English that was far from perfect.
Then came 2015 and my very first group.
I will never forget that night!. At 10 p.m., on November 15th a bus pulled away with 50 people heading to Jacksonville, Florida, for a 5-night Bahamas cruise. Fifty people had trusted me with their vacation.
For someone who had been in the travel business for only two years, it felt unbelievable. I was excited, nervous, and probably a little scared. But more than anything, I was grateful.
That first group gave me something much bigger than a successful trip. It gave me confidence. It showed me that people believed in me, even when I was still learning to believe in myself.
Since then, there have been so many groups, so many destinations, thousands of miles, challenges, laughter, friendships, and memories.
But I will never forget those first 50 people who said YES and trusted a girl with an accent, imperfect English, a big dream, and a love for travel.
They helped me take the first step on a journey that continues today.
And after all these years, every time someone trusts me with their vacation, I still remember where I started and I am still grateful. ❤️
