We have waited a few weeks to share the tragic news on social media to give Johnny's family and our Russell Coach family time to process. It is with a very heavy heart that we share publicly that one of our drivers, Johnny, passed away on July 21, 2026 very unexpectedly. Johnny was only 40 years old and leaves behind his beautiful wife and newborn baby. Johnny had the privilege of being with his wife for the birth of their son. Johnny was so proud of his little family. Johnny’s death has shocked us all and is very sad and tragic. We are focused on his wife and one-month old baby at this time. Unfortunately for Johnny’s family, including his RCC family, evil has taken Johnny from us way too soon. We ask that you respect the privacy of Johnny’s wife as she is raising their newborn and navigating life now without Johnny. There is a Go Fund Me page that has been created by his sister-in-law. If you would like to contribute, his wife is very appreciative of the support. She is currently on maternity leave and was relying on Johnny's income. There is another Go Fund Me for Johnny that was set up by someone for self-gain, but rest assured, all donations through this Go Fund Me will go direct to his wife and baby to help with expenses.

One thing is for sure....Russell Coach has some of the best Dads! Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there but especially to our Russell Coach Dads! Some have adult children, some have younger children, some are helping with their grandchildren, some don't have children of their own but love mine and Rob's like their own. Thankful for all of the Russell Coach Dads! Happy Father's Day!!

Thanks to all of you for voting!! Our girl, Morgan Russell, won the local portion of the Star Spangled Sing-Off with WVLT! She is now moving on to the regional round representing WVLT (Channel 8)! We are not sure how many will be in the regional round but have been told it includes representatives from surrounding states. Voting for the regional winner begins tonight, June 18 at 8:00p and goes through June 28. Winner announced July 2. I know you voted for 10 days to get her to win locally but will you commit to voting again tonight, June 18 through June 28?! One vote, per day, per email!
