Such a historic and milestone moment!

2 years ago, we sat at a back table at the Global Supply Chain Institute at the University of Tennessee and dreamed about creating a 3PL class where students could learn about supply chain in a real warehouse with real customers.

Today, we spoke and shared briefly about the class at the University of Tennessee Global Supply Chain Forum for the Spring 2026 session.

It’s the 2nd to last week of the semester for this one of a kind, 3PL experiential class in partnership with and !

Projects and presentations are coming next week, and we can’t wait to hear about all the learnings, insights, and applications to real world problems.

Another FUN 🤩 week!

We toured Toyota Tsusho in Maryville, TN which is such a larger part of the supply chain ecosystem than just the automotive world. We learned about:

🚙 Just in time inventory
📥 Kanban ordering & tracking
🦺 best practices in safety
🏃and so many methods of efficiency in the manufacturing and supply chain world!

Huge thank you to them for having us!

This week students also kicked off some projects in the R&S warehouse learning how to solve real world problems and drive efficiency for the 3PL world!

It’s so fulfilling to look back and talk to former interns, extra hands, and team members who worked at R&S over the years, whether it was long or short term.

To watch young professionals grow and develop into who they’re meant to be is so fulfilling.

Whether we’ve been able to help propel someone into the industry or into a different calling, it’s been a privilege to pour into the next generation.
