Substance abuse evaluations will save lives. When operating vehicles with alcohol and/or drugs in the body, vision, and judgement is impaired. Evaluations help deter driving with substances in the system by recommending education and/or treatment for those having positive tests. Can be a positive pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, or follow-up tests, that the SAP will be called to evaluate when a driver is ready for a return to duty test.
