We are now delivering AMXL (Extra Large) freight, expanding our capabilities to handle heavy and oversized deliveries with the same commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction that defines our team.

Today is International Day of Charity! This day recognizes the role of charity in alleviating suffering and humanitarian crises. The day was chosen to commemorate the death of Mother Teresa, who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979.

Distant Winds Logistics (DISW) was proud to partner with Amazon to deliver 120 backpacks to East Hickman Elementary School! In addition to the supplies generously donated by Amazon, Distant Winds added an extra $1,200 to the backpacks. We also donated $2,000 to the school to help teachers have needed supplies in their classrooms and not spend their own money to do so. Hickman County is a disadvantaged county and the Principle, Director of Schools and County Mayor were all very appreciative. The teachers had 30 students come in to the gym and sit with their new backpacks in the stands. These type of events are what makes being a DSP so awesome and why DISW won the Community Builder award at our recent IOTR. Thanks Amazon!!!
