Late one night, a hospital social worker called us with an urgent request. A patient needed to get across the state before morning for a life-saving surgery, and the clock was running out.

Our team didn't stop until they found a solution. Ana, Teriylyn, and Bridget stayed on it past 1 a.m., and with help from a transportation provider partner who went above and beyond, the patient arrived on time. The surgery was a success.

The social worker told us it "would not have happened without securing transportation."

This is why NEMT matters. A ride is often the difference between getting care and going without it. Thank you to our team and our provider partners who show up for moments like this every day.

MediTrans has earned HITRUST Certification for our Microsoft Azure environment and the Novus platform, both hosted in Microsoft Cloud.

HITRUST is one of the most widely recognized security frameworks in healthcare. This certification shows that the systems we use to schedule and manage member rides meet established standards for protecting health information.

We are also pursuing SOC 2 certification as part of our ongoing commitment to data security.

Protecting the people we serve goes beyond the ride itself.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and early screening saves lives. Don't let the ride be the reason you put it off.

If your Medicaid health plan covers the appointment, a ride to get there may be covered too. Call the reservation line on the back of your health plan ID card, give them your appointment date and time, and we'll take it from there.
