Responsibilities and duties:
• Ensure that customer orders are delivered on time.
• Keeping an eye on carrier performance, ensuring shipments, and reporting any issues
• Directly negotiate pricing with brokers; find the most efficient delivery ways
• To stay cost-effective, coordinate and manage the most efficient loads.
• Locate carriers' loads.
• Keeping clients informed about freight data, delivery or pickup timings, and special handling demands.
• Preparing pre-determined routes and making necessary route adjustments.
• Creating freight bills and invoices, as well as preparing dispatch documentation.
• Keeping track of sent calls, driver routes, route revisions, delivery and pickup timings, and so on.
• Keeping track of transportation regulations and laws to ensure that truck drivers comply.
• Monitoring truck repairs and maintenance schedules.
Qualifications and Expertise
• 1–5 years of experience working in the same industry (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent negotiation abilities.
