Y’all… can we have an uncomfortable conversation? 😂☕

Apparently there are still people who think travel agents are just magical little vacation elves that exist to work for free.

Spoiler alert: we’re not. 💀

This summer, I’ve spent HOURS building custom quotes, comparing resorts, finding the best promotions, explaining ticket options, answering 47 follow-up questions, and basically becoming someone’s unpaid vacation concierge…

…only to get ghosted harder than my middle school crush. 👻

Or my personal favorite:

“Thanks so much!!”

Here’s how this actually works because I genuinely think people don’t know.

I don’t charge you to build your trip.

I don’t get paid for the three quotes.

I don’t get paid for the six emails.

I don’t get paid for the phone call.

I don’t get paid for the “just one more question…”

I ONLY get paid if you book with me and actually travel.

So when someone uses me as Google with personality, copies my homework, and books somewhere else because they found a deal that’s literally the exact same price… I just donated hours of my workday.

Imagine walking into a bakery.

Sampling six cupcakes.

Having the baker explain every flavor.

Then saying, “Thanks!” and walking next door to buy the exact same cupcake.

You can do it…

…but don’t act surprised when the baker gives you the look. 😂

Now, if you decide not to travel? Totally okay.

If the budget doesn’t work? Totally okay.

If life happens? Totally okay.

Just… USE YOUR WORDS. 😂

A simple “Hey, we decided not to move forward” is infinitely better than disappearing into the witness protection program.

I absolutely LOVE what I do. I love planning vacations. I love saving my clients money when promotions drop. I love obsessing over dining reservations, Lightning Lanes, cruise cabins, and all the tiny details that make a trip amazing.

I just ask for one thing in return:

Don’t treat my business like a free search engine.

Because behind every “quick quote” is an actual human who skipped lunch, stayed up too late, or spent time away from her family trying to help yours.

Real question… why would you not want someone watching your vacation after you book it? 👀✨

Disney Cruise Line dropped a new offer, so I did what I always do… I went through my clients’ reservations to see who qualified. 🚢💙 A few families got a couple hundred dollars back, and a couple got $1,500 back. 🤯💰 Those are easily my favorite messages to send. 🤩

And no, that’s not the reason people book with me. That’s just one of those “of course she does that” perks. 💁🏼‍♀️✨

The real reason? While you’re counting down to vacation 🏝️⚓, I’m over here paying attention to the things you shouldn’t have to think about. I’m watching for promotions 👀, keeping an eye on your reservation, answering the random questions that pop into your head at 10:30 at night 📱😂, and making sure you’re getting the experience you thought you were paying for. ❤️

So yeah… finding people an extra $1,500 is pretty cool. 💸🎉 But if you ask me, the best part is knowing you don’t have to wonder if you forgot something, missed something, or should be checking something.

I’ve already got it. 😉✨

I genuinely can’t imagine planning my vacations any other way… and apparently neither can my clients. 🫶🏼🚢

have you seen the Celebrate Happy Cavalcade at Disneyland yet?! 🥹✨ because this might be one of my favorite entertainment additions they’ve done for the 70th celebration.

the music is SO happy, the characters are incredible, and the whole thing just feels like pure Disney magic rolling down Main Street 💛🏰 like genuinely one of those moments that makes you stop walking and just soak it all in for a minute.

and bestie… there’s officially only THREE MONTHS left to experience Disneyland’s 70th celebration before it goes away forever 😭✨ if you’ve been saying “we should go someday,” this is your sign.

because missing this and only seeing it later through everyone else’s photos and videos? absolutely not 💀✨

because bestiesssss… Pixar Place Hotel is CUTE cute 😭💙 like I was walking around the hotel just cheesin’ at every little detail. every floor has a different Pixar theme so it feels like you’re walking through little pieces of your childhood 🥹✨ one hallway gives Inside Out vibes 🌈, another has Monsters Inc. 👁️, Finding Nemo 🐠, Coco 💀🌺… there’s always something to look at.

and I loved that it wasn’t just “here’s your room, have fun” 😂 there’s actually stuff to DO here ✨

🎆 watch the fireworks from the pool terrace
🎮 games on the lawn for the family
💛 MEET BING B**G 😭😭😭
🏨 Pixar details EVERYWHERE
🚶‍♀️ super easy walk back after a long Disneyland day

and listennnnn… walking back to your hotel while everyone else is fighting the parking structure after fireworks? ELITE behavior 💅😂 your feet will literally thank you.

this hotel just keeps the Disneyland feeling going a little longer and that’s what makes staying on-site so special to me

Out of office… but make it government mandated. 😌⚖️

Starting Tuesday morning, I’ll be at federal jury duty. I’ll still be working around the schedule as best I can, so if I’m a little slower to reply next week, blame the justice system.

Prayers up that they realize I talk too much and send me home.
