There’s absolutely no part of me that’s wishing summer away… but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t looking forward to a little structure and getting back into a routine for myself and the kiddos. 😂

Looking back, this summer was SO good to us. We traveled, made some really special memories with our girls, and had a whole lot of fun together. 🤍

It was also a really big summer for my travel business, and I’m feeling especially grateful for every family who trusted me with their vacation planning. It’s never lost on me that you’re trusting me with your vacation budget, your PTO, and precious memories with your own kiddos that you’ve probably been looking forward to for a very long time. Getting to be a tiny part of that is pretty darn cool.

And now… back to BCBA life. 😂✌🏼

I’m excited to get back into our school-year routine, but travel planning isn’t going anywhere, it just means my availability gets a whole lot tighter.

So if a Disney or cruise vacation has been sitting in the “we should really start planning that…” category, September is a VERY good time to get on my calendar. 👀

New month, new season, same me planning vacations at 5am on my walking pad before work. 😂🤍

Turns out 4 & 6 might be the PERFECT ages for a Disney Cruise 🥹

They were old enough to LOVE the kids club, sit through the shows and dinners, stay up a little later and really enjoy the ship… but still little enough that the princesses were a BIG deal. Honestly such a sweet spot.

We sailed on the Disney Wish and it was such a good fit for this age, especially if you have Frozen fans because dinner at Arendelle was a huge hit ❄️

And Northeast friends… the Wish is sailing out of NYC for a limited run next fall 👀 which makes me VERY excited.

I think we officially have two little Disney cruisers on our hands 😂🚢

When you’re doing Disney with little kids, the “best” resort isn’t always the one with your favorite theme or the prettiest rooms.

I’m looking at the logistics first. 👏🏼

Where will you spend most of your park time?
How are you getting there?
Will we be folding a stroller every time?
Can you easily get back for a nap or pool break?
How far could your room be from transportation, food, and the pool?

Because those little things don’t feel so little when you’re carrying a sleeping 40-pound kid back to your room at the end of the night. 😂

I love a beautifully themed Disney resort as much as anyone, but with young kids, convenience can completely change the way a vacation feels.

The prettiest resort on Instagram isn’t necessarily the resort that will make your trip easier, and that’s exactly why I don’t recommend the same resorts to every family.
