After several days of training, touring, and experiencing Disney in a whole new way, I'm heading home with something I value more than anything as a travel
agent - more firsthand knowledge to share with my clients.

Over the past few days, we've explored the Disney Treasure, toured a variety of Disney resorts, and spent time learning more about the experiences that make
each Disney vacation unique.

From a cruise ship to a resort, there are so many things that can influence whether a vacation feels like the perfect fit for a particular family.
That's why continuing education and firsthand experience matter so much to me. I never want to stop
learning, exploring, and finding new ways to better serve the families who trust me with their vacations.

Of course, there has been plenty of Disney magic along the way too!

One of the biggest misconceptions about planning a Disney vacation is that there is one “best” resort. In reality, the best resort depends entirely on the
family and the vacation they want to have.

Yesterday, we spent time learning and touring Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
While all three offer incredible locations and easy access to Magic Kingdom, each has its own personality, atmosphere, and vacation experience.

For some families, being within walking distance of Magic Kingdom may be the priority. For others, it's the tropical
atmosphere of the Polynesian or the elegance and luxury of the Grand Floridian.

This is exactly why I love touring the resorts and continuing my Disney education. The more I experience firsthand, the better I can help my
clients look beyond photos and find the resort that truly fits their family.

A cruise ship can look amazing online -- but there is something completely different about experiencing it in person.

Today we toured the Disney Treasure, and days like this are such an important part of continuing my education as a travel agent.

Walking through the ship allows me to experience the flow of the spaces, see the staterooms and public areas
firsthand, and get a better feel for the overall experience that photos and descriptions simply can't always capture.

When a client asks me which ship might be the best fit for their family, I want my recommendations to come from more than just what I've read online. I want to be able to share firsthand knowledge and help match each family with the vacation that feels right to them.

Definitely not a bad day of work!

What a night!! An empty Animal Kingdom all to ourselves!

Tonight was the start of an exciting few days of our travel agent education, and I'm already reminded why firsthand
experience is so important.

Planning a Disney vacation involves so many details that aren't always found in a brochure or online. Experiencing the
destinations, visiting the resorts, and learning directly from Disney helps me better understand the little things that can make a big difference when helping
a family plan their vacation.

Over the next few days, we'll be visiting resorts, touring the Disney Treasure, and learning more about the experiences Disney has to offer ....
and I can't wait to bring that knowledge back to my clients!
