Client Question of the Week: “How can I book Royal Gathering before my Disney Cruise?” 👑

I recently received this question from a client who is getting ready for her Disney Cruise.

First, let’s clear up one VERY important thing: Royal Gathering is NOT the same thing as Royal Court Tea. 👀 Royal Court Tea is a separately priced premium experience. Royal Gathering is complimentary with your cruise.

And here’s what makes Royal Gathering different from most Disney Cruise reservations: there are no tiered booking windows based on your Castaway Club status.

Royal Gathering opens for everyone 30 days before sailing, so it’s an even playing field.

During your approximately 15-minute reservation window, you’ll get to meet princesses like Moana, Cinderella, Belle, Tiana, and Rapunzel all in one experience. 👑✨

And if you don’t get a reservation? Don’t give up! Once you board, check with Guest Services to see if additional availability has opened up. You can also check the individual character meet-and-greet times in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you’re connected onboard.

So if Royal Gathering is on your must-do list, put a reminder on your calendar for 30 days before your sail date at midnight EST. This is one Disney Cruise reservation where everyone gets the same shot at it!

Disney has a pricing secret most people don't realize...

Giving kids ownership over one part of the trip can make them so much more invested and excited in the whole experience.

Whatever it is, let them have one thing that's completely theirs! Kind of like a “yes” day, but on vacation.

Don't assume they'll remember the most hyped attraction. The character breakfast, splashing at the pool, getting an ice cream, or a random funny interaction might become their absolute favorite memory.
