✨ Disney Photo Pass ✨

There are Disney photo pass cast members across key locations in the parks to take your family photos.

Most U.K. multi-day tickets include Memory Maker as standard, which means any photos taken by these cast members are free for you to download!

Photo pass photographers are also station at most character meet and greets, so you can soak in the magic and not worry about capturing the moment.

Photo pass also includes ride photos. If you are wearing a magic band, your ride photo will automatically link to your My Disney Experience app. Alternatively you can tap your park ticket at the ride exit where you see your photo.

Photo Pass photographers will take photos with your own devices too - you just have to ask them!

✨ Staying at WDW ✨

There is nothing like staying on WDW property to absorb you into the Disney bubble 🫧

We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter in a Standard room. ⚜️

We found the room really spacious, even after adding a travel cot for Zachary. 🛏️

We requested a corner room which gave us 2 windows and made the room feel even more spacious and light. ☀️

The room had plenty of storage (considering we had 3 weeks worth of clothes and a huge Target shop!) 🧳

The most magical part of the room was that we could see the Epcot fireworks! If you had a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor, your view of the fireworks would be even better! 🎆

✨ Our most magical character interaction at WDW ✨

We have had some incredible character interactions in Disney Parks and on DCL. This one with Buzz Lightyear is one of our most memorable.

Whilst we were queuing we got Zachary into his Buzz Lightyear costume - it was too hot to be wearing it all day!

When we got to the front of the queue, Zachary was a little unsure. Buzz took a step back and let Zachary settle, within seconds, Zachary was high-fiving Buzz and holding his hand.

The meet turned into the most magical experience for us as Buzz headed back to Star Command, walking Zachary with him 💚💜

Zachary didn’t want to let go of Buzz and stood blowing kisses and waving. When Zachary did let go and Buzz headed to Star Command, Zachary said “One more” 🥹❤️

Moments like this can’t be engineered, it’s just about letting the magic take over. Buzz saw his mini-Buzz and took time for the interaction, allowing an initially hesitant Zachary to relax and creating a core memory.

That evening as Michael was putting Zachary to bed, Zachary picked up his Buzz Lightyear plush and said “Bubba Hand” - remembering that moment from earlier in the day and he still talks about it now, over a year later. And we will remember this moment forever.

𝔹𝕠𝕟𝕦𝕤 𝕋𝕚𝕡: Pack a couple of extra t-shirts with different characters or a character outfit. If you do a character meet and greet, you can quickly swap them into a t-shirt or costume of that character whilst in the queue. It makes the character interaction extra special and makes for incredible photos (even without the Star Command walk, those photos were so magical!) 💜💚

✨ Disney Cruise Line Sunsets ✨

There’s nothing like a beautiful ocean sunset whilst on board DCL. 🚢

Check the sunset time and make sure you are on deck to make the most of the golden hour ❤️

It may mean you miss an evening show but the trade off is beautiful photos with very few people around. 📸

𝔹𝕠𝕟𝕦𝕤 𝕋𝕚𝕡: Grab one of the unlimited drinks (tea, coffee, hot chocolate or sodas) from Deck 11 and just soak in the magic ✨

✨Disney Dining Plan - Hollywood Studios Edition ✨

For our most recent WDW trip we opted for the free dining option when booking our hotel and ticket package direct with Disney.

We did a TON of research before our holiday to work out which food we wanted to try and which items would give best value for money if we had paid for the dining plan.

Here is everything we ate on our first day at Hollywood Studios. Everything was covered by the dining plan, so didn’t cost us anything. You’ll be amazed at the total cost of the meals if we had paid out of pocket!

For us the dining plan is worth it, just so you don’t have to keep such a close eye on your budget whilst on holiday.
