Michael’s Marine Service is an authorized dealer and service center for MerCruiser, Volvo Penta, Kohler Marine, and Dometic. We also handle service and warranties for Formula Boats. We are a three generation one stop repair facility on Lake George. Our technicians take pride in doing a job that you will be pleased with. It doesn’t matter where you purchased your boat - all we want to do is keep it

afloat. It is our mission to exceed our customers’ expectations. Our service department is capable and qualified in the many diverse areas of boat repair and maintenance. Some of our expertise includes gas and diesel engine repair or replacement, generators, insurance estimates, electrical , oil changes, prop reconditioning, shrink-wrap, stern drives, transmissions, tune-ups, under water lighting, LED lighting, air conditioning and heat pumps, winterization, and windless installation. Even if it is to simply replace your zinc's or bilge pump...we do it all! Customer Service is very important to us! We treat every customer the way we would like to be treated in return. The launch schedule is out and we are expecting to launch on time.
Please make sure your boat is ready no later than the preceding Sunday of your scheduled launch week.
All accounts must be paid in full prior to launch.

SERVICE WILL NOT BE SCHEDULED IF YOUR ACCOUNT HAS AN OUTSTANDING BALANCE
SCHEDULING MAY RESUME 3 WEEKS AFTER THE ACCOUNT IS BROUGHT CURRENT

This is the perfect time to check your safety equipment and to make sure life jackets, fire extinguishers and flair kits are not expired. Your boat should have a minimum of 3 dock lines and 2 fenders. Dock lines do degrade over time and should be replaced every few years. If you have any questions about what you are required to have please call us. 518-656-9931

Watch your mailbox. Haul Out Service Request Forms have been mailed. There are some changes this year. We will no longer shrinkwrap boats that have kayaks or inflatables stored on decks. They must be removed before your boat is hauled. Also all boats requesting shrinkwrap must be ready to be covered on the day they are hauled out.
Service Request Forms are due back by September 1st. We only have six weeks to get everyone serviced and winterized so PLEASE return your form as soon as possible to help with the scheduling process. The first day of haul out is September 2. 2025

Launch has begun, please make sure you are prepared no later than the Sunday night before your scheduled launch week. And for those that seem to forget they own boats over the winter that haven't paid their haul services bill we remind you of our policy of no cash no splash. Happy Boating everyone.

Just a heads-up...
We lost power today (July 17) at about 12:30 and closed at 2pm today. No ETA fir the power to return....you may want to check your boats, hopefully the refrigerators only contained beverages

It's the first boating weekend for most boaters. Remember to take it easy and check your safety gear before leaving the dock. Also don't forget mother nature seems to have a way of moving those underwater obstacles every year. Hoping everyone has a safe, happy and trouble free weekend. Most importantly let's not forget why we get that extra day on this weekend - it is to honor those that paid the ultimate price to keep us safe and free. 🇺🇸
