Happy 4th of July. Unfortunately due to the excessive heat we will not be running carriages today. The health and safety of our horses is always our first priority. Rides will resume when the heat wave ends. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Do you love horses? Want to join our team? We are now hiring!

The Lake George Carriage Company is looking to add new members to our team. We are currently looking for drivers and an assistant manager for the 2019 summer
season. The job requires strong communication skills and equine experience. We like to have fun while maintaining a safe and clean operation.

Driver
Daily chores per shift including feeding and administering any necessary care to the horses (medication/ointments)
Cleaning the barn and tack after each shift
Checking all horses and equipment (carriages and tack) at the start of each shift

There are many challenges we face while working in the Village of Lake George, including the weather, heavy car and foot traffic, dogs and other noises and stimuli. Safety is paramount and applicants must have at least 5 years of horse experience, preferably driving. They must demonstrate the ability to maintain safe control of a horse and carriage. Anyone interested in joining our team should contact us!
